Chez Liz

Every time I think I can commit to something more structured in terms of blogging, life does seem to get in the way a bit. (Think 12+ hour work days for 2 straight months! It’s gotten a little easier and I’m down to pulling those a few times a week now, but still yowza. And ps- I’m exhausted and definitely need a break!)

Amidst all the craziness and right after my big site launch in February, I moved. In early January I’d gone hunting with Alana and Lexi. By the end of a very long day, I’d found a place I liked. All that was left at that point was to box my stuff up, donate what I didn’t want anymore, and move. No big deal!

The move itself was actually pretty painless. The movers I hired were AMAZING (shout-out to Easy Moving Company, I would very highly recommend them!). In only 2 hours, they had all my furniture loaded, moved, and unloaded at the new place. They were fast, the guys were very personable. And if I’d known they were going to be so fast I would have had them move my boxes also! Andy, Jax, Alana, and Angel helped me move the boxes and my clothes, which took another 2 hours. BAM! My friends are completely amazing and I’m so thankful!! Smile

By the end of the next day, I was all unpacked, but empty boxes were everywhere. A week later, this is how my house looks (pretty awesome if you ask me!)

It’s a great amount of space, my unit faces east (yay no scorching afternoon sun to heat the place up!!), and is right next to a pool for summertime shenanigans Smile

All in all I’m pretty pleased with it. There are a few things left to do, but on the whole I think it looks awesome and it’s definitely my own little grown-up space. Hopefully I don’t run into major issues and can stay put for awhile!

….and the place is extremely pet-friendly. I may or may not be keeping my eyes open for my own furry little friend!
